Hi, Hola, I’m Dr. Estrella Ortiz Ph.D.
I am a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) therapist from Puerto Rico. I am truly excited to be part of Founders and Clinical team at Ortiz Wellness Center . Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of experiencing professional growth across various areas, including earning a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources, specialization in Supervision and Management; a Master of Chaplaincy with a focus on Pastoral Clinical Counseling; as well as certifications as an Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselor and in Hyper-Sexuality in children and youth.
My priority is to ensure the physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being of our patients and their families. You can always count on me to work together towards your goals. I look forward to meeting you soon!
My Approach
With over 20 years of hands-on experience working with children and adolescents with special needs—both in the Department of the Family in Puerto Rico and in specialized schools in Puerto Rico and Florida—I am committed to providing compassionate and comprehensive care utilizing a client-centered framework alongside cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques.
